I've done a lot of work in this region — high school events, fundraisers, and corporate events across the area — and the thing about the Red River Valley is that winter isn't an obstacle here, it's the season people plan around. Some of my best-attended shows anywhere have been in January in this part of the country, because when it's that cold outside, an event people actually want to attend fills the room. Fargo and Moorhead operate as one community across the state line, which means an event on either side pulls from both.
